Press Brake / Laser Cutting Operator​

CALLING ALL PLASMA AND PRESS BRAKE OPERATORS  

 

We currently have three positions available for machine operators at varying levels of experience, to join us in our fast-growing company as we make the move to our brand new, custom-built workshop. 

 The roles are: 

• Plasma Operator 

• Plasma Operator Assistant 

• Press Brake Operator 

 

Cut Fold NZ is a family owned and operated business based in Te Awamutu and runs alongside it’s brother company – Edwards Engineering Services Ltd.

Cut Fold NZ has potential for huge growth within 2023, including a big move to our new 1850m2 purpose-built workshop. 

We are looking for a superstar candidates with a can do attitude to help us succeed in this. For the successful applicants Cut Fold NZ provides potential for career development opportunities. 

   

Duties will include: 

• Operation of plasma, and/or brake press machines  

• Ensuring deadlines are met 

• Machine Maintenance 

• Ordering consumables 

 

For this position you will need the below attributes:

• Good people skills 

• Good computer skills 

• Great attention to detail and finishing 

• A positive attitude and great communication skills 

• Experience operating a plasma/brake press machine would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right person
